Cycling: Health and Fitness Guide

When it comes to persuading people to try cycling, some often ask, "Why go cycling when you can burn your calories in the gym?" While it is true that exercise in the gym can help you lose weight and lose weight, outdoor cycling has its benefits.

Cycling is a low-impact exercise which means it does not put a lot of pressure on our joints as opposed to exercising or over-stretching and weight training in the gym. Our muscles can get real good exercise because cycling uses all the major muscle groups as we travel by bike paths, roads and hills.

In addition, like aerobic exercise, cycling is a good exercise for the heart because it stimulates deep breathing, increases body temperature, sweat calories, and how to eliminate certain toxins such as body fat. Cycling does not depress us because we can do it at our own pace. It is also fun to do it because we can do it with our friends or family and unlike in the gym where we keep training with various tools inside the walls, cycling outside gives us a sense of fun and entertainment as we ride our bike.

According to research, consistent cycling can burn about 1,200 calories or 300 calories per hour. Studies also show that cycling for half an hour every day will burn about 15 pounds [5 kg] of fat over a year. Do some math and see how much fuel you burn when we ride our bikes for an hour or more every day. We use our bikes not only as a hobby, but also as a means of transportation, especially once we have gained confidence on the road.

Of course, like any other exercise, we can benefit greatly from cycling when we combine this activity with proper diet and proper eating habits. It would be helpful for us to come up with a diet plan so that exercise goes hand in hand with proper nutrition.

Experts suggest that we increase the amount of protein in our diet, eat a nutritious breakfast at least an hour before boarding, and have a protein-rich meal for lunch or dinner. You can eat healthy snacks during long rides.
